Valerie Doescher has been affiliated with the AAICJ for over a decade, and stepped into a leadership role in the Fall of 2022. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Doescher spent years as executive assistant to prior AAICJ President, William Butler, while also working in various capacities at the Coalition for the International Criminal Court. Throughout law school and for several years thereafter, Ms. Doescher worked in civil legal services, with a particular focus on housing and eviction prevention. She continues to volunteer within that sector.
